And the liquid cooled version is pretty insane.
AMD's Vega Frontier video card hits pre-order, and it ain't cheap

A handful of online retailers have started listing preorders for the upcoming Radeon Vega Frontier video card, and while this gives us solid details on the card, it also reveals a rather steep asking price. The air-cooled version of AMD's latest costs $US1199, while the fancier liquid-cooled version will set the upgrade-addicted back a steep $US1799.

But then, this isn't exactly a consumer product.

Guru3D picked up the news, and also has the copy from the pre-orders themselves. This is a big-iron card aimed at scientists, game developers, graphic designers, and other creatives. But it'll also play a mean round of Doom.

Here's the important stats:

  • ~25 TFLOPS Peak FP16 Compute Performance.
  • ~13 TFLOPS Peak FP32 Compute Performance.
  • 16GB High Bandwidth Cache.
  • 64 Next-Gen Compute Units.
  • 4096 Stream Processors.
