Acer releases impressive new Z35P curved, G-Sync monitor

Acer's new Z35P monitor is far from cheap. At $US1100 it'll cost as much as some PCs, but it's also hitting the sweet-spot of must-have gaming features.

First up, it's an impressive 35in display, with a 3440 x 1440 resolution. It boasts a 4ms response time, has a brightness of 300 Nit, and a contrast ratio of 2500:1. The panel has a native 100Hz refresh rate, but it's been overclocked to 120Hz thanks to some fancy Acer trickery. 

And it feature's Nvidia's G-Sync technology to make the most of that impressive refresh rate. It sounds pretty perfect to us, and is rounded out by a set of speakers you'll never use, and with a VESA mount, DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 4.1, and a whole mess of USB 3 ports. Well, four, to be exact.
