One Minute Review: Asus ROG Gladius II gaming mouse
Rating
Overall:

It’s probably not worth upgrading if you have a Gladius 1, but if you’re hunting around for a great gaming and general purpose mouse the Gladius 2 is very much recommended.

Cutting edge mousing from Asus.

This evolution of the excellent Gladius 1 adds RGB and some nice usability features, so depending on which of those appeals, it represents a good bit of refinement to a top mouse.
The RGBs pulse and colour cycle through the logo under your palm, around the scroll wheel, and circle the base. I have to admit it looks pretty cool, and adjustments to the patterns and colours can be made via the software.

On the side under your right thumb is a new button not seen on the Gladius 1, and tweaks have been made to the ‘Mayan’ texture on the grippy bits so the channels in the pattern aren’t as deep so trap less grime, but the rubberized material still offers top grip. Overall the feel and weight of the Gladius II is equal with the best, and its optical sensor faultless.

It’s probably not worth upgrading if you have a Gladius 1, but if you’re hunting around for a great gaming and general purpose mouse the Gladius 2 is very much recommended.
